That's not a question, the name of the restaurant is "Capische?" .
This is the place I chose for our anniversary dinner. The setting is spectacular, on a hill above Wailea. I had informed them it was our 20th anniversary when I made the reservation and asked for a nice table. We were given a primo table by the rail, in the corner, where we could look out at the koi pond and grounds in one direction, and the view of distant West Maui and Lanai in the other. We arrived right around sunset, and enjoyed watching the light disappear behind the clouds and ocean as we sipped champagne.
This is a very nice restaurant, and we enjoyed the setting and the service and the food very much. The appetizers were a particular standout, in fact they were much better than the entrees, and I wished I had made a meal of small plates. We had a risotto with white truffle and local mushrooms that was fantastic. I had a quail saltimbocca appetizer that was made with locally smoked bacon, brown butter, pinenuts and sage that was incredibly good. Our main courses were slightly less successful. The cioppino was good, but a little bland, and most of the seafood in it had been frozen (i should know better than to order something with a Maine lobster tail in Hawaii. But the king crab leg was really good). The spiced mahi-mahi was better, but not as flavorful as we'd expected. For dessert, a creme brulee with grand marnier soaked strawberries was outstanding.
All in all, it was excellent, if not quite perfect.
